Laws and Regulations

The Land Transport Affairs is responsible for overseeing all of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s laws, regulations and procedures pertaining to the land transportation sector.

Regulations Description
Ministerial Order Number 11 for the Year 2015 Outlines a list of public transport licenses and the overall requirements and conditions of operations.
Ministerial Order Number 22 for the Year 2016   Specifies the regulations of Internal Transport for Passengers licenses, International Transport for Passengers licenses, Internal Transport of Tourists licenses and International Tourism Transport licenses.
Ministerial Order Number 23 for the Year 2016   Specifies the regulations of Car Rental licenses  and Motorcycle Rental licenses
Ministerial Order Number 1 for the Year 2017 Specifies the regulation of taxi and call taxi licenses for companies and establishments
