  • Regulate the civil aviation sector as to enhance the safety and security of aviation and activate the regulatory and supervisory role in accordance with the national and international regulations
  • Develop and enhance navigation and meteorology services to keep up with standards and international developments
  • Develop the Infrastructure of the civil aviation sector
  • Develop the human resource capacity for the Civil Aviation sector
  • Work with all companies operating in the sector to improve the quality of all the services provided to all users of the Bahrain International Airport
  • Enhance Bahrain’s position and its regional leadership in the field of civil aviation and to encourage investment and job opportunities aimed to increasing the contribution of civil aviation sector in the economy

Ports and Maritime Affairs

  • Regulate ports and maritime sector to strengthen Bahrain`s position as a leading maritime hub
  • Develop the port sector operations, maritime and logistics sector to establish the Kingdom of Bahrain as a major transshipment hub in the North Arabian Gulf region
  • Develop and protect the infrastructure of the port, maritime and logistics sectors and ensure the optimal use of the Kingdom`s property
  • Development of national human resources and manpower for the port sector, maritime and logistics zones
  • Strengthen Bahrain's position and its regional leadership in the port and maritime sector and to encourage investment and create jobs in these sectors

Land Transport Affairs

  • Developing and regulating the land transportation sector by setting a sector policy and a regulatory framework for its governance
  • Providing high-quality public transportation services across the Kingdom of Bahrain that are affordable and attractive all citizens and residents
  • Enhance the land connection between Bahrain and its neighbouring Gulf States

Bahrain Post

  • Developing and regulating the postal sector by setting a sector policy and a regulatory framework for its governance
  • Improving the operations and service levels of Bahrain Post
