Civil Aviation Affairs Hosts Fifth Meeting of the Air Transport and Facilitation Committee

The Air Transport and Facilitation Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council held its fifth meeting which is being hosted by the Ministry of Transportation’s Civil Aviation Affairs

The Air Transport and Facilitation Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council held its fifth meeting which is being hosted by the Ministry of Transportation’s Civil Aviation Affairs from the 5-6th May at the at the Civil Aviation Affairs headquarters.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the Air Transport Directorates from the GCC states. During the meeting, the committee members discussed main issues related to air transport policies in the GCC states and the continuous developments the industry is witnessing on a global and regional level - markedly the GCC region - which continues to record high levels of growth in passenger movement and air cargo.

This meeting is one of many meetings hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of civil aviation and which further affirms the Kingdom’s commitment and leading role as well as the extensive experience and qualified cadres it has in the field. This meeting is also part of the Ministry of Transportation’s strategic objectives and strategy that is in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
