Minister visits postal sorting center in Hidd

Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed said that the postal sorting center in the Hidd Industrial Zone was among the most significant projects launched by the ministry.

During an inspection visit, the minister toured the facilities to ensure all operations were running smoothly and according to the most advanced standards.

The new facilities replaced the center in Muharraq that had provided postal services for more than 40 years, the minister said.

The sorting center serves as the main facility for sorting mail items.
