Bahrain Post, part of the Ministry of Transportation, has issued two commemorative stamps on the occasion of the establishment of the Isa Award for Service of Humanity 2013.

The Isa Award for Service of Humanity was established in 2009 by a Royal Decree from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain to recognize individuals that have dedicated their lives in serving humanity and in commemoration of the late Amir His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa’s role in serving Bahrain and in achieving fair balance between the social and political development of the country which contributed to its development as a modern state.

On this occasion, the Kingdom of Bahrain commemorates its rich human heritage in the social, economic, cultural, educational, and political spheres which has been embedded by His Highness the late Amir who was renowned for his generosity, kindness, and unique ability to reach out to all people.

The stamps are available in a 100 fils and 200 fils denominations and are available in all Bahrain Post branches.
