HE Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, received Alastair Long, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Bahrain.
The Minister highlighted the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and the UK, noting the mutual commitment to strengthening cooperation and expanding the strategic partnership across various key sectors, particularly in transportation and telecommunications. He highlighted the importance of exchanging expertise and benefiting from modern technologies to support infrastructure development and enhance the efficiency of the transport and communications systems.
The meeting also reviewed the latest regional and international developments, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
For his part, the ambassador affirmed his country’s aspiration to further enhance joint cooperation to serve shared interests and support development paths in both countries.
