Bahrain Logistics Zone (BLZ) and Multicom Real Estate Company to develop logistics facilities and warehouses. The agreement was signed on behalf of Multicom by General Manager, Hern Bahatia.

Multicom Real Estate Company will advise on effective economical solutions for storing, handling, and distributing various goods. The company will also provide warehouses for companies looking for prefabricated warehouses, and will operate over an area of 22,937 square meters.

On this occasion His Excellency the Minister said, "This partnership represents a major achievement for the Bahrain Logistics Zone and will support logistics services in Bahrain as a regional station for transshipment. Bahrain Logistics Zone’s many benefits and facilities include competitive pricing and world-class services in import, export, re-export operations, reduced time required for unloading and re-shipping and is in close vicinity to the high-tech Khalifa bin Salman Port. All of these facilities position the region as a destination for companies seeking to access the Gulf region. We are confident that both parties will achieve mutual benefit from this partnership whilst meeting the growing demand for specialised logistics services in the Gulf market-  estimated in the trillions of dollars."

The BLZ is the only zone in the Kingdom of Bahrain that has been customized to provide space for logistics services and has been designed to complement the port's services in compliance with international standards. The facility provides many direct and indirect benefits for logistics companies operating in the area, particularly companies focusing their business activities in the Gulf region.
