
As part of the (state visit) of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Sultanate of Oman, at the invitation of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications signed an MoU with Oman’s Civil Aviation Authority to enhance cooperation in meteorology.
The agreement was signed by HE Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani on behalf of Bahrain and HE Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman.
HE Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, highlighted Bahrain's commitment, under the leadership of HM the King and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to strengthening strategic ties with Oman.
He emphasised collaboration in meteorology to enhance civil aviation, navigation, and sustainable development. The partnership focuses on exchanging expertise, improving weather systems, training, and addressing climate challenges to ensure safety and promote GCC integration.
