HE Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, met with Deemah bint Yahya Al Yahya, Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO).

HE the Minister reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with the DCO, emphasizing the importance of exchanging expertise among member states to advance the telecommunications and information technology sector, support the digital economy, and coordinate joint efforts. The discussions took place as the organization prepared for its fourth General Assembly in Jordan on February 19.

Al Yahya commended Bahrain’s support as a founding member of the DCO and its commitment to advancing the organization’s goals. She highlighted Bahrain’s dedication to fostering multilateral international cooperation for an inclusive and sustainable global digital economy.
