HE Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications met with His Excellency Bandar bin Ibrahim AlKhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

During the meeting, the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening comprehensive strategic cooperation and partnership with Saudi Arabia, encouraging investments, and exchanging expertise in developing infrastructure for logistics services, industry, and digital transformation, in alignment with the economic and developmental visions of both nations.

The two sides discussed prospects for economic integration in implementing the outcomes of the third meeting of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Committee Meeting on Investment, Environment, and Infrastructure. They also explored ways to advance bilateral partnership in the fields of transportation and logistics services, energy, manufacturing industries, digital entrepreneurship, and environmental protection, in support of sustainable development goals.

For his part, His Excellency Bandar bin Ibrahim AlKhorayef emphasized Saudi Arabia’s commitment to enhancing and expanding economic cooperation and partnership with Bahrain, particularly in the fields of industry, mining, logistics services, and technological advancement, to bring prosperity and growth to both nations and their peoples.
