HE Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, met with HE Abdullah bin Amer Al Swaha, Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

HE Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed emphasized Bahrain’s commitment to enhancing its strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia in communications, information technology, and digital infrastructure development, in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 and Saudi Vision 2030.

Both ministers discussed economic integration and the outcomes of the third meeting of the Coordination Committee on Investment, Environment, and Infrastructure under the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council. They focused on plans for a new submarine communications cable, cooperation in digital entrepreneurship, and training programs in technology and artificial intelligence, supporting sustainable development goals in both countries.

On his part, Al Swaha emphasized the shared commitment to advancing technological innovation and the digital economy for mutual prosperity.
