The Minister of Transportation and Acting Chief Executive of the Economic Development Board His Excellency Engineer Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed stressed the importance of strong economic ties between Arab countries during his meeting with His Excellency Mr Ahmed Rashid Khatabi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Bahrain, held today at the Ministry of Transportation.

His Excellency stated that the Ministry of Transportation in particular is keen to open new areas of cooperation and exchange of opinions and expertise with the Moroccan Ministry of Equipment and Transport. This is with the aim of integrating and aligning development plans in the transportation industry between the Arab states, and ensuring that projects in critical transport and aviation sectors are implemented to continue economic progress, as the sectors are key areas for attracting international investment in the region.

His Excellency the Minister of Transportation stressed his pride in the collective efforts made by Arab ministers through joint meetings, projects and events which all contribute to regional progress and development. His Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Bahrain thanked His Excellency for all of the initiatives and efforts undertaken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to protect and preserve Arab unity, and to facilitate all areas aimed at strengthening economic progress in the region.
