HE Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, received Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi, the newly appointed Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain.

The minister highlighted the deep-rooted and longstanding ties between the two kingdoms and their development across various domains. He attributed this development to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

HE Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed underscored the importance of the growing economic and strategic partnership between the two kingdoms, particularly within the framework of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, co-chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

He reaffirmed both countries’ commitment to advancing the outcomes of the third Coordination Committee meeting, particularly in investment, environment, and infrastructure. He also emphasised ongoing cooperation in developing the transportation, telecommunications, and logistics sectors, as well as following up on railway and land, sea, and air connectivity projects.
