HE Fatima Abdullah Al Dhaen, Undersecretary for Land Transport and Post Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, received Asmaa Shalabi, Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to Bahrain.

The Undersecretary emphasized Bahrain's commitment to strengthening cooperation and strategic partnership with the United Nations and its specialized agencies, particularly in the fields of transportation, mobility, and digital transformation. She highlighted the alignment of these efforts with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 and the 2025-2029 Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF).

The UNDP Resident Representative expressed appreciation to Bahrain for supporting her in her new role and for its commitment to enhancing collaboration, partnership, and knowledge exchange with the United Nations and its specialised entities. She reaffirmed the importance of these efforts in achieving sustainable development goals and extended her best wishes for Bahrain’s continued progress and prosperity.
