Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, met with Frédéric Sanchez, President of MEDEF International and Chairman of the Executive Board of Fives Group, along with his accompanying delegation, during their visit to Bahrain.

The minister highlighted the strong economic and investment ties between Bahrain and France, particularly in transport, infrastructure, modern technology, and technical expertise exchange. He underscored the importance of strengthening partnerships that reinforce Bahrain’s position as a regional hub for economy, investment, and logistics.

The meeting discussed strategic partnerships in smart and sustainable transport solutions, aviation and maritime development, and logistics services, as well as joint investment opportunities between Bahraini and French companies to support sustainable development goals.

Sanchez commended Bahrain’s economic openness, attractive investment environment, and modern infrastructure, emphasizing the interest of French companies in expanding cooperation in transport, telecommunications, and logistics.
