Explore Bahrain’s Waters with Safety and Ease

The Navigation Permit for Visiting Vessels service is now available to make sailing in Bahraini territorial waters safer and more accessible. This service is specifically designed for owners of non-commercial foreign recreational vessels, allowing them to obtain an official multi-entry navigation permit without the need for a maritime agent.

Based on Ministerial Resolution No. (9) of 2025 (PDF, 200 KB - Arabic only) regarding the regulation of navigation permits for visiting vessels in Bahraini waters, this service aims to enhance the visitor experience in a well-regulated and sustainable maritime environment, in line with Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030 and reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to excellence in delivering government services.

This service is part of the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications’ efforts to enhance maritime safety and security, boost Bahrain’s appeal as a leading destination for yachts and marine tourism and simplify procedures through clear and streamlined steps.

For more information on the procedures required to enter Bahraini waters and the necessary pre-entry requirements, please refer to the Guidelines for the Entry and Exit Procedures of Visiting Vessels in Bahraini Waters (PDF, 306 KB) .
